Recent trend need high Skill Automobile Engineer Ahmedabad Institute Of Technology’s Department of Automobile Engineering in 2016 which offer “Bachelor of Engineering”. Department is having all Teaching Faculty members, minimum Master Degree holder as well highly professional and Academic Experience.

We have a strong culture of encouraging students to understand real life challenges through activities like BAJA, GO KART, EFFICYCLE. The department has active students chapters of professional bodies like SAE. Student have good opportunities in government Sector Like RTO as well outside India.

Mission of the Department

1. To produce technically competent and ethically sound Computer Engineering professionals by imparting quality education, training, hands on experience and value-based education.

2. To pursue creative research, adapt to rapidly changing technologies and promote self-learning approaches in Computer Engineering and across disciplines to serve the dynamic needs of industry, government and society.

3. To inculcate ethical attitude, sense of responsibility towards society and leadership ability required for a responsible professional computer engineer.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

The Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of B.Tech Information Technology program at the Ahmedabad Institute of Technology are to produce graduates who are able to:

1. Are proficient in fundamentals of science, mathematics, electronics and computer science and engineering and skills necessary for a successful IT professional.

2. Learn, apply skills, techniques, and competency to use modern engineering tools to solve computational problems.

3. Demonstrate ability to adapt to the challenges of evolving career opportunities in their chosen fields of career including higher studies, research avenues, entrepreneurial activities etc.

4. Engage in lifelong learning, inculcate leadership qualities and teamwork ability with a sense of ethics for a successful professional career in their chosen field.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)

PSO1 : Develop a suitable computing environment using fundamental knowledge of computer architecture, organization, embedded systems and networking.

PSO2 : Develop Software Systems using good Software Engineering and database design principles.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

Engineering knowledge:

Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Problem analysis:

Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

Design/development of solutions:

Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Conduct investigations of complex problems:

Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

Modern tool usage:

Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

The engineer and society:

Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

Environment and sustainability:

Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

Ethics:

Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

Individual and team work:

Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.

Communication:

Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to ones own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
