Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
The Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of Computer Engineering undergraduate program at Ahmedabad Institute of Technology is to prepare students that:
PEO 1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering, technology, management and various other interdisciplinary subjects for a successful career.
PEO 2. Achieve positions of leadership in an organization through leadership skills, communication skills, professional personality and ethical values.
PEO 3. Developed their communication skills in oral, written, visual and graphic modes when working as team members or leaders, so they can actively participate in their communities and their profession.
PEO 4. Established an understanding of professionalism, ethics, quality performance, public policy, safety, and sustainability that allows them to be professional leaders and contributors to society when solving engineering problems and producing civil engineering solution.
Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)
PSO1: Analyse complex civil engineering problems with professional knowledge and skill.
PSO2: Solve complex Civil Engineering problems and provide the best possible design solutions using various contemporary engineering tools.
PSO3: Use effective communication skills and shoulder accountability in a professional role as a Civil Engineer independently, or as a team-member/team-leader in society.
PSO4: Practice ethics in socio-economical, environmental and professional Civil Engineering activities.
PSO5: Pursue research and innovation in the field of Civil Engineering & allied fields for betterment of the society.
